More Than One Virtual Tour

Clients Who Really Love Their Virtual Tours

Why would you need more than one virtual tour?

Part of the fun I have when building virtual tours involves my clients. Without them, I’m just a guy with some cameras. Sometimes, my clients expand on my ideas before I can open my mouth. Lynn is no exception. One a fine day in May, I built a virtual tour for the country-focused furnishings and gift store she manages, Chester Country Furnishings.

I’m humble when it comes to my work. I enjoy what I do. Don’t get me wrong. I believe that, if you have a business in which people visit you, you need a virtual tour. I’m very grateful that people pay me for my services, but at the same time, I genuinely feel that they now have a very powerful tool.

Over time, I check in and make sure the virtual tour is being used, see how things are going, and sometimes mention how many hits their tours are getting on Google Street View. That info is really cool and clients love it.

When I shot that virtual tour for Lynn, she was over the moon when she saw the final results. The words “speechless” and “magnificent” were used. I kid you not. I showcased her virtual tour on a simple web page I built for her. She bought the domain name SeeChesterCountryFurnishings.com and now uses it for her web presence.

It Didn’t End There

Because she’d have her store all decked out for Christmas. And because she now has two virtual tours, she wanted to showcase both of them on her website. This would give visitors a chance to see what kind of goodies she has during the summer months and the holiday season.

I thought about creating different versions of a virtual tour, like daytime and nighttime, but having a client want to showcase their location during a different time of the year was something that hadn’t crossed my mind. I’m glad to see that Lynn continues to be excited to show off her store in a way that she didn’t know of previously.
