Save Time with Your Virtual Tour
Are you able to save time with your marketing?
We all know what the ideal new-client situation is like. Someone finds your business while doing a Google search and sees photos of your location. They ask more questions and eventually they make an appointment to stop by and see the space in person. You take time out of your day to show them what they want. Your client is wowed by your wonderful place and immediately book their time or place an order. Life is great.
With that scenario, the time you and your client spent was well-invested. They took time out of their schedule and made the trip to see your business. For them, it’s not only the time they spend being shown around your space, it’s also travel time.
You took time out of your schedule to make sure your client got a good look at what you have to offer. The photos on your site were enough to bring them in. What they saw when they arrived either met their expectations or they were satisfied with the space despite the photos.
Quit Dreaming
We can’t please everyone all of the time. I’m sure you’ve experienced that. For one of any number of reasons, what you’re offering isn’t what the customer wants or needs. The time spent on the phone, the emails gone back and forth, and drive to meet them in person. It seems like wasted time. But how do we avoid that?
I’m sure you’re also thinking about all of the things you could’ve accomplished in that time. How many hours will you never get back?
That’s not your fault. It’s not their fault. But the wasted time very well may have been avoided.
Start at the Beginning
Tracey and André have a beautiful restaurant on a small lake in northern New Jersey. Saving time with new clients was one of the key reasons they had me build a virtual tour for their restaurant. As a venue that also hosts weddings and other events, she’s experienced wasted time and knew that a virtual tour would provide more information to her potential customers, allowing them to make a more informed decision before deciding if a next step should occur.
When a client can immediately see what your place is like, experiencing it in a virtual walk-through at their own pace, they will be in a much better position to know from the comfort of their home whether to put you on the short list or if you’re a “swipe left.” There are going to be criteria that, right off the top, will make or break their decision. A virtual tour can give them that information. If they’re going to swipe left on you, there’s nothing wrong with that. They’ve just avoided wasting their time AND yours.
What Does The Tour Provide?
A virtual tour is going to provide a far greater and much more in-depth view of what your venue looks like. Immediately, they’ll see things like:
- Is the space the right size for the event?
- Do they like the layout of the facility?
- Do they like the look of the architecture?
- Are there areas that might be difficult for some of their guests?
- Do they carry the items I’m looking for?
- What is the flow like when walking through the place?
- What does the surrounding area look like?
- What does the view look like?
Whatever the reasons, if there’s something that is an immediate deal-breaker for them, they and you have just saved each other a lot of potentially wasted time.
So, you don’t necessarily have to quit dreaming. Just use your time more wisely.
